WACA

The Western Australian Cricket Association (WACA) is the governing body of cricket in WA, overseeing the development of the game throughout metro, rural and regional areas.

The association was established in 1885 and undertakes operations and facilities management, turf maintenance, high performance programs and talent development, community engagement and management of and support for school cricket programs.

Up until recently all games of cricket in Perth were played at the WACA, but with the opening of the new Stadium top tier international games and Big Bash league games are now played at Optus Stadium.

The WACA assists with umpire and coach development and provides support and assistance for all WA cricket clubs.

Regular tours of the WACA ground are also hosted by WACA management.
