Chinatown
Chinatown is Perth’s vibrant centre for Asian culture, restaurants and nightlife.
Chinese architecture, lion statues and bubble tea houses line the lanes of this 1980s development built to mark the presence of the Chinese community in WA since the 1840s.
Chinatown and Northbridge are also the venue for celebrations including the annual Chung Wah Perth Chinese New Year Fair, where the streets come alive with more than 30,000 revellers from a range of Perth’s diverse cultural communities.
