Raine Square dates back to 1883 when the Royal Hotel was established and for over 130 years since then, the site has been home to a hospitality establishment of one kind or another.
In 2017, major refurbishment works were initiated to restore, enhance and transform the heritage-listed property into a world-class, dynamic and unique shopping, dining and entertainment precinct.
Stage 1 of the redevelopment is now open with exciting new offers for retail, dining and entertainment experiences. There is the welcomed return of cinematic experience to the CBD with Palace Raine Square Cinemas, Michelin-star dim sun chain restaurant Tim Ho Wan, Coles Central and a range of speciality stores and boutique retailers.
Significant premium office space, including the home of Bankwest, sits directly above Raine Square’s dining and entertainment precinct. Stage 2 of the redevelopment will consist of the Fashion Precinct including The Wentworth Building, scheduled to open in 2019.
