Quo Vado? (Where am I going?) | 2016 | M | 86 min
Checco is born on the privileged side of life in an Italian small town, with a guaranteed job as a public servant. When a new reformist government vows to cut down on bureaucracy, Checco is forced to accept worsening conditions. As the highest-grossing film in Italian cinema history, earning over 60 million Euros, the story takes a not-so-subtle dig at the Italian obsession of pursuing a cushy public service job-for-life.
Live music and $10 pizza specials from 6.30pm, the film begins at 7.30pm.
The Lavazza Italian Film Festival will be held at Palace Cinemas, Northbridge, Northbridge Piazza, and Luna Palace Cinemas, Fremantle. For full information about the Lavazza Italian Film Festival, see
