St George's Art 2019
WA's premier annual exhibition of works by senior high students delivers a fascinating insight into the lives and minds of an emerging generation.
Thousands flock to St George's Art, each year bringing different perspectives on the world from today's teens. The young artists gain valuable experience from participating in a professionally curated exhibition, many going on to display their work in the prestigious Pulse Perspectives (formerly Year 12 Perspectives) at the Art Gallery of WA.
St George's Cathedral will be transformed into a unique art gallery for the nine-day winter exhibition, with seating moved out to make way for more than 140 artworks, displayed along the aisles.
Visitors are invited to vote for the People's Choice Prize, awarded at the close of the exhibition. Entry by gold coin donation, catalogues $15.
St George's Cathedral has wheelchair access via Cathedral Avenue. The nearest ACROD bay is on Hay Street in front of the City Library.
