Rudolf Koelman plays Bruch 2

Dutch violinist Mr Koelman is the winner of the prestigious Edison Classic Music Award 2010, the only violinist ever who has recorded all Paganini Capricci live, Jascha Heifetz’s last active student and plays on the Woolhouse Stradivarius.  He is the soloist in Bruch’s rarely heard but magic Violin Concerto No 2 “the other Bruch”.  Weber’s stirring Overture Der Freischütz and Schubert’s glorious Symphony No3 make this a most beautiful, all romantic concert.  Fremantle Chamber Orchestra is conducted by Paul Wright.
