The practice of meditation provides an opportunity to learn to live in the present moment and experience the joy in life.
Meditation is proven to reduce stress, and increase one's awareness of self and surroundings. It also promotes mindfulness which is extremely helpful in getting ourselves to wind down and relax after a long day.
