Financial Empowerment for Women: Keep Safe and Understand Finances
Financial Toolbox Inc. are pleased to present the first event in their Financial Empowerment for Women series. Not confident with finances and concerned about the future? Join us for an introduction to basic finances and learn how to take control and be safe and financially secure.
About Financial Empowerment for Women
Three in five Australian women in relationships are vulnerable to financial abuse because they do not understand money matters and how to achieve financial independence.
In an era where women are striving for greater independence, it is concerning that 70% of women surveyed rely on their partner for financial support. Women face challenges when it comes to money. As a woman, you will probably live longer than men, you will usually earn less than men, and you are more likely to take time out of paid work to care for children or parents. This puts you behind when it comes to being financially secure—both now and in the future.
Take the first step in understanding your finances and help secure your future.
