Elizabeth Quay Bus Station running three hours ahead of each event. A popular journey for locals is to travel to Claisebrook Cove to enjoy a
pre-game drink before walking over Matagarup Bridge.

  • Where is Optus Stadium?
    Optus Stadium is located along Victoria Park Drive on the Burswood Peninsula. The stadium is approximately 5km away from Perth City.
  • How do I get from the CBD to Optus Stadium?
    CBD shuttle buses operate from Elizabeth Quay Bus Station. Bus route 661 starts running three hours ahead of each event.
  • Can I get an Uber to Optus Stadium?
    Yes. From Sunday 24 March 2019, a pickup and dropoff zone will be in place for the 2019 AFL season at Optus Stadium. These rideshare bays will be located on Nelson Avenue, on the East Perth side of Matagarup Pedestrian Bridge.
  • Is there parking at Optus Stadium?
    There is no private vehicle access to Optus Stadium. Visitors are encouraged to take Transperth, which is included on all Optus Stadium event tickets. There is limited ACROD parking, and parking permits are subject to availability.
  • Where are the pubs at Optus Stadium?
    Australia's largest pub, The Camfield is located 100m away from Optus Stadium. The pub features five bars with 175 beer taps, a huge beer garden, a massive screen and an extensive food menu.  
  • Can you take your own food to Optus Stadium?
    You are allowed to take food and bottled drinks, plus flasks of food or drink. You cannot take in cans, glass bottles or alcohol.
  • What food and beverage options are available?
    There are more than 50 food and beverage outlets offering a wide range of choices. You can find all of your footy favourites here including Gage Road beer, hot chips, pies, burgers and so much more!
  • Where is Matagarup Bridge?
    Matagarup Bridge connects people walking between East Perth and Optus Stadium. The bridge starts in East Perth at Nelson Crescent and takes pedestrians direct to the Optus Stadium entrance.
  • What is the seating capacity?
    Optus Stadium has a seating capacity of 60,000 for AFL games, the third largest in Australia.
  • Who designed Optus Stadium?
    The state-of-the-art Optus Stadium was designed by architect Philip Cox. Construction commenced on the 7th of December 2014.
