St Georges Terrace

St Georges Terrace

Filled with high rise office buildings and peppered with bars, restaurants, shops and cafes, St Georges Terrace is one of Perth City’s most well known streets.

Many large corporations and businesses have their head quarters here including Woodside, Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, Patersons and Hawaiian.

The Terrace, as it’s affectionately known by locals, runs parallel to the Swan River and forms the major arterial road through the city’s Central Business District.

Its western end is marked by the Barracks Arch near Parliament House across the Mitchell Freeway; the eastern end joins Adelaide Terrace at the intersection with Victoria Avenue.
