MoveMe Festival

12 to 22 September

From 12 until 22 September, MoveMe Festival 2018 offers opportunities to dip your toe in, take a paddle, or dive into dance that is everything from captivating and thoughtful to unashamedly hilarious and exhilarating.

MoveMe Festival 2018 is a showcase of contemporary dance celebrating Western Australian independent choreographers and dancers.

The line-up includes new works from Chrissie Parrott, Unkempt Dance and Richard Cilli presented by Co3 Australia and LINK Dance Company; Kynan Hughes’ exploration of love and loss in the exquisite trio Love/Less, and the tender and poignant experience of Dust on the Shortbread from Anything is Valid Dance Theatre, featuring Dr Elizabeth Cameron Dalman OAM and George Shevtsov.

22 September

On Saturday 22 September 2018, Propel once again invites you to join them in documenting 24 hours of life in Western Australia directly through your eyes!

Every year, hundreds of people across WA simultaneously step behind their cameras to capture and submit an image from their day to Mosaic, a community-driven photography project and exhibition. We're asking anyone and everyone in WA to set aside a couple of minutes on Saturday 22 September, to capture part of their day on camera.

Use your phone, a DSLR, a film camera, a point and shoot, Instagram, a tablet - whatever you have at your disposal!

After registering, and during the lead-up to Capture Day, we'll send you the upload link. You'll have a week after Saturday 22 September to upload your image and have it displayed in a professional exhibition, alongside other contributions from all walks of life in WA. It's that easy!
