1. Toast, East Perth

Take a quick stroll over the bridge to Claisebrook Cove for serene views and a fully loaded menu with all the healthy, indulgent and in-between options. 
Our pick:
The menu is lengthy so it’s hard to choose just one, but some standouts are the open rye sandwich with smoked salmon, tomato salsa, avocado, capers and a poached egg. Or the porky butt with pulled pork benedict on potato and parmesan toast, poachies and house-made hollandaise. 

2. The Royal, East Perth

Another waterfront fave in Claisebrook Cove, The Royal is for those after more of a bistro-style feed washed down with an alcoholic beverage. 
Our pick:
Any of the pizzas or the steak sandwich with Kerrigan Valley rump, relish, manchego, Roquette, chipotle mayo in garlic oil brushed ciabatta served with chips. 

3. Bright Tank Brewing Co, East Perth 

There’s no shortage of options of beers for fanatics which is paired with an equally tasty and adventurous share style food menu, just a short stroll across from Optus Stadium. 
Our pick:
The Brewers Plate with pork terrine, chicken liver parfait, smoked duck prosciutto, sourdough, house pickles and get the friendly bar staff to pair it with one of their seasonal beers. 

4. Huxtaburger, Perth CBD

Work hard, play hard right? For a real post-run treat, you can’t go passed a juicy burger and this joint does them good!
Our pick: The Rachel – Crispy fried chicken, jalapenos, sriracha mayo, cheese, aioli, lettuce and tomato in a deliciously soft bun. Then wash it down with a classic vanilla thick shake. 

5. Community at Quay, Perth CBD

Slide into a comfy booth at this cute café near Elizabeth Quay to fill your belly post-run. 
Our pick:
The sweet potato fritter with pumpkin hummus, halloumi, sautéed spinach, dukkha and of course a poachie! Plus, you can’t go past an Immunity Boost smoothie with triple berry, kiwi, chia seeds, orange and honey. The coffees are also spot on. 

6. Flora & Fauna, Northbridge

A tiny but mighty café chocker-block with so much vegan goodness that it’s impossible to take a wrong turn when it comes to loading up on a nourishing post-run feed.  
Our pick: Fruit loaded chocolate vegan waffles and a pressed juice like the Leafy Green with kale, kiwi, green apples and organic spirulina.
